Whew! My absolute favorite author is Mindy Starns Clark, so I will pretty much read anything by her! Haha! I also loved Unlocked {Karen Kingsbury}, and One Tuesday Morning/Beyond Tuesday Morning {also by Karen Kingsbury}. Plus, Summer of Light {W. Dale Cramer} was a book about photography! It was fiction, but still really good!
I really wish that I had read more books like Lies Young Women Believe {Nancy Leigh Demoss and Dannah Gresh}, Before you meet Prince Charming {Sarah Malley}, and Girls Gone Wise in a World Gone Wild {Mary A. Kassian}… I really love those books! Do any of you have any books like that that you would recommend? I need some new ones!!!
I’ve really liked keeping track of the books I’ve read, so I’m going to continue it, and not just stop at 100!

Eve - Do any of you have any books like that that you would recommend?

Let’s see… So Much More (Anna-Sophia and Elizabeth Botkin) was good! And you might have also heard of I Kissed Dating Goodbye (Josh Harris), which I really enjoyed, and Boy Meets Girl: Say Hello to Courtship (Josh Harris), which I am currently reading and love so far.
Hope you are encouraged by these books! :)

In Christ,

Eve

Lauren - Ya know, I just read a newer book by Dannah Gresh called “What are you Waiting for?” and it was amazing! Really, it’s a book I think just about everyone should read! So I certainly recommend that one ;) Also, I absolutely loved the book “Passion and Purity” by Elizabeth Elliot…such a wonderful book!
~Lauren :)

Libby - I would highly recommend any books by Eric and Leslie Ludy; Joshua Harris; Jamsine Baucham; Voddie Baucham; Janette Oke; Girls of Grace devotionals from: Point of Grace; Jennie Chancey and Stacy McDonald; Elizabeth George; Beautiful Girlhood; and I have heard wonderful things about So Much More by Anna Sofia and Elizabeth Botkin, but have not read it yet– hoping to soon though!! :)

You’re list of books and authors sound really great!!

Ashlyn Nicole - Hi Emily!
Lately I have been reading more than usual, and here are a few that have been immensely refreshing.
“If I Perish” is amazing. Amazing. I couldn’t explain the book in words, but It is really good.
Also, any books by Darlene Deibler Rose. Wow. She was amazing, and it’s as if you are there.

Are you ready for two more? “Gates of Splendor” by Elizabeth Elliot and “Rees Howells: Intercessor” by Norman Grubb are both amazing. Gates of Splendor gives a good biography of Jim Elliot and the other men, as well as the future woman’s lives.
Rees Howells: Intercessor is also amazing. I’d say this has had one of the most profound impacts on my life…ever. Self Denial, and especially in the pleasures of this world, fasting, and prayer. And when you get done, you won’t ever wonder why the Miracle of Dunkirk happened. You’ll know exactly why, and the “why” of many other happenings during that war. I love biographies of great men and woman, missionary stories, and history. This was all combined in one, and this book was amazing.
Of course, Chuck Blacks (the kingdom series) and Martha Finley’s (ORIGINAL) Elsie Dinsmore Series are always great reads.
(all can be found on Amazon…of course:)
And you also have this book long comment to read too.
haha! let me know if you look into any of these! or at least mention it in a post:)

Abbie - I see Beverly Lewis on the list…. did you ever read the SummerHill Secrets books by her? They’re awesome :) And also check out Treasures in the Snow and The Tanglewoods Secret, both by Patricia St. John.

Emily Ruth - I like the Tuesday Morning ones by Karen Kingsbury! They really helped me understand what happened on 9/11 as I was only 5 when it happened.
Congratulations on reaching yet another goal!
